SSRI facilities are located in Bays A & B of the Erwin Mill building. We have expanded our Erwin Mill facility, into Bay A of the building’s first floor.

The additional space was carefully designed to serve the needs of our programs and affiliates, and offers a much-needed 72-person event room used for talks, workshops, and conferences and available to all members of the campus community by reservation. The room is able to provide live streaming of events and can also disc or file record events. Therefore all events held in this room are available not only to those in attendance, but to individuals not able to attend, whether on or off the Duke campus. The Bay A space also provides a conference/reception room in close proximity to the event room.

The Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) is a proud leader of technological resources for the larger social science community at Duke University. SSRI's technological resources are open to all those in the social sciences including graduate students and undergrads. These resources are primarily located in SSRI’s Erwin Mill space; however some resources can be accessed from other places on campus and even from offsite locations.
